In the bidding of Xi'an SKPS 20,000 square meters shopping mall design project, we defeated the Korean design team Gentlemonster in the final.Our design elements of the SKP Mall are inspired by the concept of "symbiosis," which expresses the idea that humans, nature, and the universe have always been interconnected, mutually dependent, self-sustaining, and growing together. Different living organisms interact and support one another, achieving a harmonious coexistence.
It is like breathing, which is invisible yet indispensable. Originally referring to the close relationship between two different organisms, "symbiosis" has now permeated various fields, including collaborative design, technology, and systems. It represents an approach that transcends singular disciplines, combining elements from multiple fields to create positive, effective, and beneficial solutions.
