The Beetle Lounge sofa was first conceived in 2017 and was inspired by the idea of a space capsule, where people seek a state of stability while floating, like a spacesuit, the capsule seat gives a feeling of lightness and envelopment. We created the feeling that the backrest and armrests are layered on top of each other, and the upholstery design gives people a feeling like a curled beetle, and people can also lean against the sofa in all directions when sitting, which took many years of development and we finalized it in 2024
